    If you are driving, head towards Palo Alto. From Highway 101, take the Embarcadero Road exit. Follow Embarcadero Road west until it turns into Homer Avenue. Continue on Homer Avenue for about a mile. The Museum of American Heritage will be on your left at 351 Homer Ave. There is a parking lot available for visitors, and parking is free.

    Take the Caltrain to the Palo Alto station. From there, exit the station and walk to the nearest bus stop (located at the corner of Alma St. and University Ave). Catch the Stanford Marguerite Shuttle (Line P) towards the Stanford campus. Get off at the stop for 'Homer Avenue & Embarcadero'. From there, walk east on Homer Avenue for about 0.3 miles. The museum will be on your right at 351 Homer Ave.
