To reach Newport Beach - The Wedge from downtown Costa Mesa, start by walking to the nearest bus stop on 19th Street and Newport Boulevard. Catch the OCTA Bus Route 1 heading south towards Newport Beach. Make sure to pay your fare when you board the bus. Stay on the bus for about 15-20 minutes, and watch for the stop at 'Pacific Coast Highway and 9th Avenue'. Get off the bus here. From the bus stop, walk west on 9th Avenue until you reach the beach. The Wedge is located at the end of 9th Avenue, where you can enjoy the beautiful views and possibly catch some surfing action.

Biking
If you prefer to bike to Newport Beach - The Wedge, you can rent a bike from one of the many rental shops in Costa Mesa. Start your journey by heading west on 19th Street until you reach the Pacific Coast Highway (PCH). Turn right (north) on PCH and continue riding for approximately 1.5 miles. You will see signs for Newport Beach. As you approach Balboa Peninsula, you can follow the bike paths along the beach. Once you reach 9th Avenue, turn left, and you'll find The Wedge at the end of the street.

For those who prefer walking, start at the Costa Mesa City Hall and head west on 19th Street. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Pacific Coast Highway (PCH). Cross to the other side of PCH and continue walking north. After about a mile, you'll reach 9th Avenue. Turn left on 9th Avenue, and continue walking until you reach the beach. The Wedge is located at the end of the street, where you can enjoy the stunning ocean views and the famous surf spot.
