Public Transit

From Union City BART Station, board the BART train heading towards the Millbrae direction. After 6 stops, disembark at the Palo Alto station. Once you exit the station, head towards the bus stop located near the station entrance. Take the SamTrans Bus Line 22 towards the 'Palo Alto Transit Center.' Ride for about 5 minutes and get off at the 'Addison Ave & Middlefield Rd' stop. Walk east on Addison Ave for about 5 minutes until you reach 367 Addison Ave, the Birthplace of Silicon Valley.
Bicycle

If you have access to a bicycle, you can ride from Union City to Palo Alto. Start by heading south on Decoto Rd until you reach the Alameda Creek Trail. Follow the trail west until you reach the Bay Trail, then continue south. This route takes you through scenic areas and connects to local bike paths. Once you reach the vicinity of Palo Alto, navigate towards Addison Ave, and you will find the Birthplace of Silicon Valley at 367 Addison Ave.
Walking

While walking from Union City to Palo Alto is quite a distance, if you're feeling adventurous, you could start at the Union City BART Station and walk to the nearest bus stop on Alvarado Blvd where you can catch a bus to Palo Alto.
