Walking
The National Museum is located north of the Royal Palace, on the west side of Veal Preah Maen square. From the Royal Palace, walk north along Sothearos Blvd, then turn left onto Street 178. The museum entrance is at the corner of Streets 13 and 178. The walk is approximately 5-10 minutes.

Phnom Penh has a public bus system. Check for routes that pass near the Royal Palace or Central Market, as these are major transport hubs. From a bus stop near either location, it's a short walk to the museum. A single bus fare is approximately 4,000 Riel. Tuk-tuks, taxis, or motos are often more convenient for tourists.

Tuk-tuks and taxis are readily available throughout Phnom Penh. Simply tell the driver you want to go to the National Museum, located near the Royal Palace on Street 13.
