The locks are approximately a 15-20 minute walk from most spots along the canal.

To take public transit, find the nearest OC Transpo bus stop. You can catch bus route 85, which travels towards the Hogs Back area. Board the bus heading to the 'Hogs Back' stop. The fare for a single ride is CAD 3.75 (exact change required) or you can purchase a day pass for CAD 10.50 for unlimited travel within the day. Once you get off at the Hogs Back stop, you will be just a short walk away from the locks.
