Car
If you're traveling by car within Fundy National Park, start from the entrance of the park. Follow the main park road, which is marked as Route 114. Drive towards the 'Dickson Falls' sign, which will direct you onto a smaller road leading to the Dickson Falls parking area. The parking lot is located approximately 1.5 km from the main road. Once parked, you'll find a clearly marked trailhead for the Dickson Falls trail.
Public Transportation
For travelers using public transportation, there are limited options directly into Fundy National Park. The nearest bus service to the park is from the town of Alma. From Alma, you can take a local taxi to the Dickson Falls parking area. Ensure to arrange the taxi in advance, as services may be limited. The ride from Alma to Dickson Falls is approximately 10-15 minutes. Once at the parking area, follow the marked trail to reach the falls.
Hiking
Once you've parked at the Dickson Falls parking lot, prepare for a short hike to the falls. The trail is well-maintained and marked, approximately 1 km in length. The hike takes about 30 minutes each way, and visitors will enjoy beautiful forest scenery along the route. Make sure to wear comfortable walking shoes and carry water.
