Once you reach Sault Ste. Marie, take Highway 548 east towards the town of Hilton Beach. Continue on Highway 548 for approximately 30 kilometers (about 18 miles) until you arrive in Hilton Beach. Once in Hilton Beach, turn left onto Fort Road, and you will find Fort St. Joseph National Historic Site at 185 Fort Rd, Hilton Beach, ON P0R 1G0. There is no admission fee for visiting the site, but be sure to check for any special events or guided tours that may have associated costs.
