From Hintonburg, walk to the nearest OC Transpo bus stop. You can catch Bus 14 at the stop 'Hintonburg / Wellington' or 'Hintonburg / Parkdale'. Board the bus heading towards 'Carleton University'. Stay on the bus for approximately 15-20 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Billings Bridge', which is the closest stop to Billings Estate. From the bus stop, walk east along Riverside Drive towards Cabot Street, then turn left onto Cabot Street. The Billings Estate National Historic Site will be on your right at 2100 Cabot St.

If you're up for a scenic walk, start from the heart of Hintonburg at Wellington Street. Head south on Parkdale Avenue until you reach the intersection with the Ottawa River Pathway. Follow the pathway along the river for a delightful stroll. Continue until you reach the Billings Bridge, then cross the bridge and continue onto Riverside Drive. Turn left onto Cabot Street, and the Billings Estate will be on your right at 2100 Cabot St. This walk will take approximately 40-50 minutes, depending on your pace.

If you have a bike, you can ride from Hintonburg to Billings Estate. Start on Wellington Street and head south on Parkdale Avenue. Continue down Parkdale until you can access the Ottawa River Pathway. Ride along the pathway until you reach Billings Bridge. Cross the bridge and continue on Riverside Drive. Turn left onto Cabot Street, and you will find Billings Estate at 2100 Cabot St. This bike ride should take around 20-30 minutes.
