If you are driving to Tolhuaca National Park from Temuco, head south on Route 5 (Carretera Panamericana) for approximately 90 km. Take the exit towards Route 181 (Ruta 181) heading toward Curacautín. After about 30 km, you will reach the town of Curacautín. From Curacautín, continue on Route 181 for another 25 km until you see signs for Tolhuaca National Park. The park entrance is located just off the main road.

To reach Tolhuaca National Park by public transport, take a bus from the Temuco Terminal de Buses to Curacautín. The journey takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive in Curacautín, you can take a taxi or a local bus heading to the park entrance. Be sure to confirm the bus schedules in advance, as they may vary. Taxis may charge around CLP 10,000 to CLP 15,000 for the short trip to the park entrance.

If you prefer a more direct route, consider hiring a taxi or using a rideshare service from Temuco or Curacautín. From Temuco, the fare can range from CLP 50,000 to CLP 70,000, and from Curacautín, it should cost around CLP 10,000 to CLP 15,000 to reach the park entrance.
