After about 20 kilometers, you'll reach a junction; take the left fork onto Route 49. Follow this road for about 40 kilometers until you see signs for the Malleco River. The river is located in the Araucania region, and you'll find several viewpoints along the way. Make sure to have a map or GPS handy as some roads can be winding.
