If you are driving, start from the town of Salento, Quindio. Head southwest on Calle 6 towards Carrera 7, then turn left onto Carrera 7. After about 1.5 kilometers, turn right onto the road leading to Los Nevados National Natural Park. Follow the signs directing you to El Bosque de Las Palmas. The drive is approximately 30 minutes, and be prepared for some unpaved roads as you approach the park. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for rough terrain.

From Salento, take a bus or jeep (jeep is the more common mode) to the entrance of Los Nevados National Natural Park. The ride costs around 10,000 COP and takes about 30-45 minutes. Once at the park entrance, you may need to hire a local guide or use a 4x4 taxi to reach El Bosque de Las Palmas, as the final stretch may require specialized vehicles. Discuss the fare with the driver beforehand, which can range from 20,000 to 50,000 COP depending on the distance.
