The Casa Museo Negret is located in Popayán's historic center, making it easily accessible on foot from many points of interest. From Parque Caldas, the city's main square, walk 3 blocks east on Calle 5. The museum will be on your right. The walk is generally flat and takes about 5 minutes.

Local buses (Transpubenza, Translibertad, Transtambo, Sotracauca) circulate throughout Popayán. Take any bus that goes along Calle 5 and ask the driver to drop you off near Carrera 10. From there, walk half a block south to the museum. Bus fare is approximately 2,400 COP.
