The availability of water facilitated the construction of the first cement houses and necessary infrastructure in the town.Today, Pozo Majagual Park covers 1.6 acres and features a children's playground and a small pool, a symbolic reminder of the well's historical importance. It is a popular spot for walking and family activities. While many young people may not know the park's full history, it remains an important landmark for the people of Sincelejo. The park is open from 5:00 AM to 9:30 PM daily, offering a green escape for locals and tourists alike.
