Once you've entered the park, continue along the main road, following signs for the Far View Sites. Coyote Village is located near the Far View Lodge area of the park. The drive will take approximately 30 minutes, depending on traffic and stops.

Public transportation options are limited in the Colorado Plateau region, particularly within Mesa Verde National Park. However, you can take a bus from Durango to Cortez, which is approximately 30 miles from the park. From Cortez, you may need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to reach the park entrance. Once at the park, you can walk or use the park shuttle (if available during your visit) to reach Coyote Village. Be sure to check the bus schedules in advance, as they may vary by season.

For the more adventurous, consider cycling to Coyote Village. You can rent a bicycle in nearby Cortez or Durango. From Cortez, bike along US-160 to the entrance of Mesa Verde National Park.
