Car
From Colorado River Valley, head northeast on CO-86 E. Continue on CO-86 E for approximately 25 miles until you reach the junction with CO-83 N. Take the ramp onto CO-83 N towards Franktown. After about 10 miles, you'll see signs for Castlewood Canyon State Park. Turn left onto the park's entrance at 2989 CO-83, Franktown, CO 80116. There is a parking fee of $10 per vehicle.

If you are using public transportation, first take the bus service (RTD) from Colorado River Valley to Castle Rock. From Castle Rock, transfer to the local bus that heads towards Franktown. After arriving in Franktown, you will need to use a rideshare service (like Uber or Lyft) to reach Castlewood Canyon State Park as public transport does not reach the park directly. Be prepared for a ride-share fare that can vary based on distance and time of day.
