Getting There

• Bicycle

  From downtown Delta, head south on Main Street towards US-50. Continue on Main Street until you reach the intersection with US-50, then turn left onto US-50 East. Follow US-50 for about 2 miles, then turn right onto 650 Road. Continue on 650 Road for approximately 4 miles until you reach the entrance of the Dominguez-Escalante National Conservation Area at 5524 650 Rd. The area is well-signposted, and the scenic ride will take you through beautiful landscapes.

• Public Transit (Bus)

  Take the Delta Transit bus from the Delta Depot located at 311 W 4th St. Check the local bus schedule to see if there is a route that goes towards US-50. If not, take a bus that heads to the nearest bus stop to US-50, and then walk or bike the remaining distance. Once you reach US-50, walk east for approximately 2 miles until you can turn right onto 650 Road. Continue for about 4 miles until you arrive at the Dominguez-Escalante National Conservation Area entrance at 5524 650 Rd.

• Walking

  If you prefer to walk, start at the Delta City Park located at 4th St and Meeker St. Head south on Meeker St until you reach US-50. Turn right and walk along the shoulder of US-50 for about 2 miles. At the intersection with 650 Road, turn right and continue walking for approximately 4 miles. You will reach the entrance of Dominguez-Escalante National Conservation Area at 5524 650 Rd. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated.
