Getting There

    From the 16th Street Mall, walk south towards the Colorado Convention Center. The mural is located on the east side of the building, spanning several blocks. There is no cost to view the mural.

  • Public Transport

    Take the RTD Light Rail D, F, or H line to the 'Theatre District-Convention Center' station, which is located next to the Colorado Convention Center. From the station, walk along 14th Street to view the mural on the east side of the building. A single ride costs $3.00.

  • Parking

    If driving, parking is available at the Colorado Convention Center Garage. Rates can be up to $26 for 24 hours. Several other parking garages are available in the vicinity, with varying rates. Metered street parking is also available, costing around $1.75 for 2 hours.

The mural is located on the east side of the Colorado Convention Center. The artist also included many controversial historic figures, from labor activists to individuals such as Kit Carson. Revelle views the piece as an attempt to represent history, not to whitewash it. The mural has sparked dialogue and reflection since its installation. It is made from 300,000 computer-generated porcelain tiles. Today, visitors can view the mural and reflect on the many faces and events that have shaped Colorado.
