Driving
From Estes Park, follow US-36 west towards Rocky Mountain National Park. Enter the park and continue on US-36 until you reach the intersection with Bear Lake Road. Turn right onto Bear Lake Road and drive approximately 1.5 miles to the Moraine Park Discovery Center. Parking is available at the center. Note that a timed entry permit may be required to enter the park during certain times of the year. The cost of a 1-day pass to Rocky Mountain National Park is $30.

Public Transport
During the summer, take the free Hiker Shuttle from the Estes Park Visitor Center to the Park & Ride Transit Hub on Bear Lake Road. From the Park & Ride, transfer to the Moraine Park Shuttle and get off at the Cub Lake Trailhead/Fern Lake Bus Stop. From there, it is a short walk along the road to the Discovery Center. The shuttle is free, but a timed entry permit may still be required to enter the park. The Moraine Park Shuttle runs every 60 minutes.
