Getting There

  • Driving

    From Frisco, head west on Main Street toward CO-91. Turn left onto CO-91 and continue for approximately 8 miles. The Mayflower Gulch Trailhead will be on your right. Parking is free but can be crowded. From Vail, take I-70 E to Copper Mountain exit 195, then south on Highway 91 for 6 miles to the parking lot. If you have a 4WD vehicle with decent clearance, you can drive about a mile further down the old mining road, but parking is limited.

    Take the Summit Stage bus from Breckenridge to Frisco. From Frisco, take a taxi or rideshare service to the Mayflower Gulch Trailhead, as there is no direct public transit to the trailhead. Expect taxi fares to range from $20 to $30.
