Getting There

  • Car

    From the Beaver Meadows Entrance Station, drive on Bear Lake Road for approximately 9 miles. You will pass several parking areas and trailheads. Continue until you reach the Endovalley Picnic Area on your right. Look for signs indicating the area as this is a popular stop for visitors.

  • Public Transportation

    If you are using the park's shuttle system, take the Bear Lake Shuttle from the Estes Park Visitor Center. The shuttle runs during the summer months with stops at various trailheads including the Bear Lake area. After reaching Bear Lake, you will still need to walk for about 1.5 miles along Bear Lake Road to reach the Endovalley Picnic Area. Be sure to check the shuttle schedule for exact times.
