Getting There

  • Car

    From Estes Park, follow US-36 W/W Elkhorn Ave, then turn right onto Fall River Rd. Continue for approximately 1.8 miles to Endovalley Road. Turn onto Endovalley Road to reach the picnic area. Parking is available at the picnic area. Be aware that parking can be limited during peak season, so arriving early is recommended. A timed entry permit may be required to enter the park during certain times of the year. Entrance fees to the park also apply.

  • Public Transport

    From the Estes Park Visitor Center, take the Hiker Shuttle to the Park & Ride transit hub on Bear Lake Road. From there, transfer to the Bear Lake Shuttle. Get off at a stop near Fall River Road, and walk or bike to Endovalley Picnic Area. Shuttle tickets require a reservation made in advance, costing $2. A valid park entrance pass is also required. The Hiker Shuttle runs from late May to mid-October. Check the shuttle schedule for specific times.
