Walking
The Telluride Historical Museum is located at 201 W Gregory Ave, a short walk from most points in downtown Telluride. From the intersection of Colorado Avenue and Main Street, walk west on Colorado Avenue, then turn left onto Fir Street and walk one block to Gregory Avenue. The Museum will be on your left. This should take about 5-10 minutes. Sidewalks are well-maintained throughout the town.

Telluride's Galloping Goose transit system provides free bus service around town. Check the schedule for the Town Loop to find the most convenient stop to the Museum. The Galloping Goose will stop at any street corner in town along the route. The bus is free.

If driving, be aware that parking in Telluride is limited. Metered street parking is available throughout the business district for $2.50 per hour, with a 3-hour maximum. Free two-hour parking is available on some streets north of Colorado Avenue. The Carhenge parking lot at 700 W Pacific Ave offers free all-day parking and is a 10-minute walk from downtown or accessible via the Galloping Goose bus. The Silverjack Parking Garage at 155 W. Pacific Ave charges $2.00/hour plus $50 per night for overnight parking.
