If you are driving from downtown New Haven, head north on State Street (Route 10). Continue on State Street and merge onto I-91 N. Take exit 10 for I-691 W toward Meriden. Merge onto I-691 W and take exit 2 for Route 40 toward North Haven. Continue on Route 40 and then turn right onto Banton Street. The park entrance will be on your left at 10 Banton St, North Haven, CT 06473. Parking is available on-site.

To reach Quinnipiac River State Park via public transportation, start at the New Haven Union Station. Take the CTtransit bus number 228 towards North Haven. The bus will take approximately 30-40 minutes to reach the stop on Banton Street. Once you get off at the Banton Street stop, walk approximately 0.3 miles east along Banton Street to reach the park entrance. Please check the CTtransit schedule for the latest times and any potential costs for the bus fare, which is typically around $1.75.
