Getting There

• Public Transport

  From the Greenwich Metro-North Train Station, take the New Haven Line train towards Grand Central Terminal. Get off at the Stamford station (about 10 minutes ride). At Stamford, transfer to an express train towards New York City. Once you reach Grand Central Terminal, exit the station and head to the subway entrance. Take the 7 train towards Flushing - Main St and get off at the 42nd St - Times Sq. Transfer to the 1, 2, or 3 trains and take it to 59th St - Columbus Circle. From there, walk north on Central Park West for about 10 minutes until you reach the entrance of Central Park. Enter the park and walk east until you reach the Arthur Ross Pinetum located at the 86th St Transverse.

  If you are in the central area of Greenwich, you can walk to the Greenwich Metro-North Train Station first. Once you arrive at the station, follow the steps for public transport. Alternatively, if you prefer walking, from the train station, head toward Main St and take a left onto E. Putnam Ave. Walk towards the coastline for about 20 minutes until you reach the harbor area. From there, you can catch a bus heading to New York City, which will take you to the nearby train stations.

• Taxi or Rideshare

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can call a taxi or use a rideshare app like Uber or Lyft to take you directly to Central Park. Simply enter 'Arthur Ross Pinetum, 86th St Transverse, New York, NY 10024' as your destination. The ride will take approximately 45 minutes depending on traffic conditions. Once you arrive, you can easily walk to the entrance of the Pinetum.
