Make sure to check the train routes to ensure you get on the correct train that will stop at Tenafly. On arriving at the Tenafly station, exit the train and walk towards the intersection of County Road and Tenafly Road. From there, you can either walk or take a local bus (check the local bus schedule) heading towards Green Brook Road. Follow the bus route until you reach Green Brook Road, where the Greenbrook Nature Sanctuary is located.

If you're close to the Metro-North Greenwich Station, you can also choose to walk to the sanctuary. After arriving at the Tenafly train station, head north on Tenafly Road until you reach Green Brook Road. Turn right onto Green Brook Road and continue walking for about a mile. The Greenbrook Nature Sanctuary will be on your left-hand side. It’s a scenic route that will give you a nice view of the area.
