Bus
From the Norwalk Transit District, board the Route 9 bus towards Westport. Stay on the bus for about 20 minutes until you reach the stop at the Norwalk Mall. Here, transfer to the Route 12 bus towards Tenafly. After approximately 25 minutes, get off at the stop on Hudson Avenue, which is near the Tenafly Nature Center. Walk a short distance (about 5 minutes) down Hudson Avenue to reach the entrance at 313 Hudson Ave, Tenafly, NJ 07670.

Train and Bus
Head to the South Norwalk train station (SoNo) and take the Metro-North Railroad towards Grand Central Terminal. Get off at the Tarrytown station. From Tarrytown, catch the 13 bus towards Tenafly. After a 30-minute ride, get off at Hudson Avenue. Walk about 10 minutes to the Tenafly Nature Center at 313 Hudson Ave, Tenafly, NJ 07670.

If you prefer walking, head towards the Norwalk Green and from there, walk to the nearest bus stop for Route 9. Once on the bus, follow the same directions as in the previous bus guidance. Alternatively, if you're near the Norwalk River, follow the path north until you reach the bus stop on the main road, then proceed with the Route 12 bus as mentioned.
