Ride until you reach the last stop, which is 242nd Street. Once you exit the station, you will be in the vicinity of Wave Hill Public Garden & Cultural Center.

    From the 242nd Street subway station, walk to the bus stop at 242nd St/Independence Ave. Take the Bx7 bus towards Riverdale Avenue. Stay on the bus for about 5 minutes and get off at the stop for Independence Ave/West 246th Street. Wave Hill Public Garden & Cultural Center is a short walk from the bus stop; simply head north on Independence Avenue for about 5 minutes until you reach the entrance at 4900 Independence Ave.
