Getting There

  • Subway

    If you're starting from midtown Manhattan, take the 2 or 5 subway line at 42nd Street - Times Square station. Ride the train towards the Bronx. You will need to transfer at 149th Street - Grand Concourse to the 4 train. Take the 4 train towards Woodlawn and get off at the Kingsbridge Road station. From there, exit the station and head east on Kingsbridge Road until you reach the Grand Concourse. Poe Park will be on your left, situated between East 192nd Street and East Kingsbridge Road.

    You can also take the BX1 or BX2 bus from various locations in the Bronx. If you're near Fordham Road, catch the BX1 or BX2 bus heading towards the Grand Concourse. Get off at the stop labeled 'Grand Concourse and E. 192 St.' Walk north on the Grand Concourse for a short distance, and you'll find Poe Park on your right, nestled between East 192nd Street and East Kingsbridge Road.
