Public Bus
If you are in Norwalk, head to the nearest bus stop for the Norwalk Transit District. Look for the Route 9 bus heading towards Huntington. Board the bus and stay on for approximately 25 minutes. Get off at the stop nearest to Huntington Village. From there, walk east on Main Street for about 10 minutes until you reach Prime Avenue. Turn left on Prime Avenue and walk for another 5 minutes; The Heckscher Museum of Art will be on your right at 2 Prime Ave.

Rent a bike from a local bike-sharing service in Norwalk. Start by heading north towards the Norwalk River Valley Trail. Once on the trail, follow the signs heading towards Huntington. After about a 30-minute ride, exit the trail and merge onto Prime Avenue. Continue straight for about 10 minutes, and you will see The Heckscher Museum of Art at 2 Prime Ave on your left.

If you prefer to walk, start from the Norwalk train station. Head north on Washington Street until you reach the intersection with Main Avenue. Turn left onto Main Avenue and continue walking for about 1.5 miles until you reach Huntington Village. From there, turn right onto Prime Avenue, and The Heckscher Museum of Art is located at 2 Prime Ave, just a short walk down the road on your right.
