CMOM is accessible via the 1, B, or C subway lines. Take the 1 train to the 79th or 86th Street station, or the B or C train to the 81st or 86th Street station. Several bus lines also stop near the museum, including the M7, M11, and M104. A single subway or bus fare is $3.

From the American Museum of Natural History, walk north on Central Park West, then turn right onto 81st Street. Walk two blocks east to Columbus Avenue, then turn left and walk one block north to 82nd Street. Turn right and walk east to the museum. The walk is approximately 10 minutes. No costs are involved.
