Gillette Castle State Park is located at 67 River Road, East Haddam, CT 06423. From CT Route 82, follow signs for the park. Note that parking is free, but can be limited during peak season. Consider arriving early in the day. From the parking area, it's a short walk to the Visitor Center and the Castle.

East Haddam is served by 9 Town Transit, offering a Dial-A-Ride service. From various points in East Haddam and surrounding towns, you can book a ride to Gillette Castle State Park. Chester-Hadlyme Ferry
An alternative final approach involves the historic Chester-Hadlyme Ferry, operating from April through November. If coming from the Chester side, take the ferry across the Connecticut River. From the Hadlyme ferry landing, it's a short drive or walk up the hill to Gillette Castle State Park. The ferry costs $6 for a car and driver, and $3 for each additional passenger.
