Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Avarua, head west on Ara Tapu Road (the main road). Continue walking for approximately 3 kilometers. You will pass several local shops and cafes. Keep an eye out for the sign for Maungaroa Drive, which will be on your left. Turn left onto Maungaroa Drive and continue walking straight for about 1 kilometer. Highland Paradise will be on your right side. Look for the entrance marked with a sign.

  • Bicycle

    Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Avarua. Start your journey by heading west along Ara Tapu Road. After approximately 3 kilometers, look for Maungaroa Drive on your left. Turn onto Maungaroa Drive and cycle for about 1 kilometer. You will see Highland Paradise on your right. Make sure to lock your bicycle upon arrival.

  • Public Bus

    Catch the public bus from the Avarua bus terminal. Look for the bus heading towards Arorangi. Inform the driver you want to get off at Maungaroa Drive. The bus ride will take around 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at Maungaroa Drive, walk approximately 200 meters down the road, and you will find Highland Paradise on your right.

  • Taxi

    If you prefer a quicker option, you can take a taxi from Avarua. Simply tell the driver you want to go to Highland Paradise on Maungaroa Drive. The journey will take approximately 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. Confirm the fare before you start your journey.
