Walking
From the center of Avarua, head east on Ara Tapu (the main road). Continue walking for about 2.5 kilometers until you reach the Ngatangiia District. Look for the sign pointing to Ngati Au Road. Turn left onto Ngati Au Road and continue for about 1 kilometer. Te Puka Estate will be on your right side. The walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Avarua. Start by cycling east on Ara Tapu. After approximately 2.5 kilometers, you will enter Ngatangiia District. Turn left onto Ngati Au Road and cycle for about 1 kilometer. Te Puka Estate will be located on your right. The bicycle ride should take around 15-20 minutes.
Public Transport
Catch a local bus from Avarua heading towards Ngatangiia. The bus stop is located near the main market in Avarua. Inform the bus driver that you are going to Ngati Au Road. The bus will take you along Ara Tapu, and you should get off at the Ngatangiia District stop. From there, walk about 1 kilometer down Ngati Au Road, and you will find Te Puka Estate on your right. The total travel time, including waiting for the bus, is approximately 30-45 minutes.
