Getting There

Walking
From the main area in Avatiu, head south along the main road, known as Ara Tapu. Continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the area near YWAM (Youth With A Mission). As you approach YWAM, you will notice the beach on your left side. Once you reach YWAM, look for a path leading to the beach. Papa Turtle is located 40 meters anticlockwise from YWAM, along the beach side. Follow the beach path, and you will find Papa Turtle on your left.

Bicycle
If you have rented a bicycle, start from the center of Avatiu and ride south on Ara Tapu. Keep pedaling straight for approximately 1.5 kilometers. When you arrive at YWAM, park your bicycle safely. After securing your bike, walk towards the beach and locate Papa Turtle by heading 40 meters anticlockwise from YWAM, along the beachfront.

Local Transport (Walking or Biking Options)
If you're near the Avatiu harbor, you can walk or bike south along Ara Tapu. The distance to YWAM is about 1.5 kilometers. Upon reaching YWAM, you will need to transition to walking to access Papa Turtle. Make sure to navigate towards the beach and proceed 40 meters anticlockwise from the YWAM location to find your destination.
