Walking
From the center of Avatiu, head east towards the coast, following the main road (Ara Tapu). Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the road that leads to Muri Beach. Turn left at the intersection onto Muri Beach Road. Continue on Muri Beach Road for approximately 2 kilometers. You will pass by several local shops and cafes along the way. As you approach Muri Beach, look for signs directing you towards Raro Buggy Tours, which is located near the beach area at Muri Beach Point.
Bicycle
If you have a bicycle, start from the central area of Avatiu and ride east along Ara Tapu. Keep pedaling straight for about 1.5 kilometers. When you reach the intersection with Muri Beach Road, turn left. Continue cycling on Muri Beach Road for about 2 kilometers. You will enjoy the scenic views of the coastline. Watch for the signs indicating Raro Buggy Tours as you near Muri Beach Point.
Public Transport
If you prefer public transport, look for a local bus that heads towards Ngatangiia or Muri Beach. Board the bus at any stop in Avatiu. The ride should take around 15-20 minutes. Ask the driver to let you off at the stop closest to Muri Beach. From there, walk towards the beach area, and you should see signs for Raro Buggy Tours. It’s a short walk from the bus stop.
