Getting there

Walking

Start at the Avatiu Harbour. Head northwest along the waterfront path, enjoying the scenic views of the ocean. Continue walking until you reach the main road, Avatiu Rd. Cross the road carefully and continue walking along Avatiu Rd. After about 500 meters, you will see a sign for Slipway on your left. Follow the path leading into the Slipway area, and you'll arrive at your destination.

Bicycle

If you have access to a bicycle, start at Avatiu Harbour and ride northwest along the waterfront path. Once you reach the junction with Avatiu Rd, turn left and cycle up Avatiu Rd. Keep an eye out for the Slipway sign on your left after approximately 500 meters. Follow the bike path leading into the Slipway area to reach your destination.

Public Transport (Bus)

From Avatiu, catch a local bus heading towards Avarua. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the stop nearest to Avatiu Rd. Once you disembark, walk a short distance until you reach Avatiu Rd. Head left and walk along Avatiu Rd for about 500 meters, where you will see the Slipway sign on your left. Follow the path into the Slipway area to arrive at your destination.
