Walking
From the center of Avatiu, head southeast towards the main road (Ara Tapu). As you approach the main road, you will see a sign indicating the direction to Muri Beach. Take the path leading towards Muri Beach. Continue walking along the road, enjoying the scenic views of the coastline. After approximately 20-25 minutes, you will reach the Muri Lagoon area. From there, look for a pathway leading to Turoa Beach, which is located in the Takitumu District. Follow the signs or ask locals if you need directions. The beach will be accessible from the end of the path.

Bicycle
If you have a bicycle, you can ride from Avatiu along the Ara Tapu road. Head southeast towards Muri Beach. It's about a 5 km ride and should take around 15-20 minutes. Once you reach Muri Lagoon, park your bicycle and follow the walking path that leads to Turoa Beach. The beach is located in the Takitumu District and is easily accessible from the lagoon area.

Look for a local bus service that operates from Avatiu towards Muri Beach. The bus stop should be nearby. Take the bus towards Muri, and ask the driver to let you know when you reach Muri Beach.
