Walking
From the center of Takitumu, head south on the main road (Ara Tapu). Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the road leading towards Vaimaanga Beach. Turn left at this intersection and walk towards the beach. After about 200 meters, take a right and continue walking along this road for another 500 meters. You will see the sign for Vai Villas on your left-hand side near the address P6P5+79X. There are no costs associated with walking.

Taxi
Taxis are readily available on Rarotonga. From anywhere in Takitumu District, a taxi to Vai Villas will cost approximately NZ$10-NZ$20, depending on the distance. There is no Uber service available in Rarotonga. AJ Taxis is a recommended taxi service.

Public Transport
The bus is a good option to reach Vai Villas. From Avarua, take the clockwise bus. Buses run along the main road in a loop. Wave the bus down from anywhere on the side of the road. The bus runs on 'island time' so may be up to 10 minutes early or late. The cost is approximately NZ$5 per ride.
