Captain Tama's Lagoon Cruizes departs from Muri Beach, the main hub for tourism in Rarotonga. If you are staying at a resort or accommodation in Muri, simply walk along the beach to the central area where the Captain Tama's beach hut is located. The hut is easily recognizable with its signage and activity around the departure times. Muri Beach is generally flat and easy to navigate.

If arriving by bus from another part of Rarotonga, take either the Clockwise or Anti-Clockwise bus. Both buses circle the island and stop along the main road (Ara Tapu). Get off the bus at Muri Beach. From the main road, walk towards the beach. Captain Tama's is centrally located on Muri Beach. Bus fare is approximately NZD 5 per trip. Buses operate frequently, approximately every hour, but not on Sundays.
