From Muri Beach, head northwest along the main road (Ara Tapu) towards Avarua. Continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction with the road leading to the airport. At this junction, turn right onto the road toward the airport. After approximately 500 meters, look for a pathway on your left that leads into the bush. Follow this pathway, which will lead you uphill toward the base of Te Rua Manga. The hike is steep, so wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
