From La Fortuna, drive approximately 15 minutes to Arenal 1968. The route is well-marked, and a 4x4 vehicle is not required. Parking is available at the entrance. Taxi/Uber is also an option from La Fortuna, costing approximately $10-$15 USD.

Public Transport
There is no direct public bus to Arenal 1968. Take the bus from downtown La Fortuna towards Tilaran and ask the driver to drop you off at the crossing to Arenal Volcano National Park. From there, walk 2 kilometers (1.24 miles) to the private reserve. Bus schedules are limited, so plan accordingly. Bus fare is approximately $2 USD.
