Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Puerto Viejo, head east on Calle 213 towards the beach. Walk until you reach the beach road, and turn right to follow the coastal path. Continue walking along the beach until you reach the intersection with the main road (Route 256). At the intersection, turn left onto Route 256. After approximately 1.5 km, look for a sign indicating Finca la Isla on your right. The entrance is marked, and you will need to walk a short distance into the property to reach the main area of the farm.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer to rent a bicycle, you can start from the center of Puerto Viejo. Head east on Calle 213, then turn right onto the beach road. Cycle along the coast until you reach the intersection with Route 256. Once you turn left onto Route 256, continue for about 1.5 km. Watch for signs for Finca la Isla on your right, and follow the path into the farm's entrance.

  • Public Transport (Bus)

    From Puerto Viejo, walk to the nearby bus station located on the main road. Look for a bus heading towards Cahuita or Manzanillo. Inform the driver you want to get off at Finca la Isla - there should be signs along the route. The bus ride takes about 10-15 minutes. Once you get off, walk a short distance back towards the farm entrance, which will be on your left. Follow the marked path to the main area.
