From Limón, take Route 32 heading southeast towards Cahuita. After about 30 kilometers, you will reach the town of Cahuita. Continue driving along Route 36 from Cahuita towards Puerto Viejo de Talamanca. After approximately 10 kilometers, you will see signs for Playa Hone Creek. Turn right onto the dirt road leading to the beach. The total driving distance is around 40 kilometers and may take about an hour depending on traffic and road conditions.

Start at the Limón bus terminal and take a bus to Puerto Viejo de Talamanca. Buses run frequently throughout the day and the ticket price is approximately $5. The journey takes around 1.5 to 2 hours.
