Getting There

Walking
From the main entrance of Puerto Viejo, head south on the main road (Calle 213). Continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Playa Negra road. Turn left onto Playa Negra road and walk for approximately 1 kilometer. El Jardin de Playa Negra will be on your right side, just before you reach the beach.

If you have rented a bike, start from the center of Puerto Viejo and ride south on the main road (Calle 213). Keep pedaling for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction with Playa Negra road. Take a left onto Playa Negra road and bike for around 1 kilometer. El Jardin de Playa Negra will be located on your right as you approach the beach.

From Puerto Viejo, look for a bus heading towards Manzanillo or Playa Chiquita. Board the bus and ride for about 15 minutes until you reach the Playa Negra stop. Once you get off, walk back about 200 meters along the road, and El Jardin de Playa Negra will be on your left side.
