Turn left onto Route 36 and follow the signs for Guápiles. After approximately 35 kilometers, take the exit onto Route 32 towards Limón. Stay on Route 32 until you reach the town of Siquirres. From Siquirres, follow the signs to Route 10 (Pavón) and drive towards the town of La Pavona. The last leg of the journey requires you to park your car at La Pavona and take a boat to Parque Nacional Tortuguero, which costs around $25 per person for the boat ride. The boat ride will take approximately 1-1.5 hours.
