If you are traveling by car, drive towards Dubrovnik city center. Use the main road D8 which leads directly to Dubrovnik. Once you enter the city, follow signs for 'Old Town' or 'Stari Grad'. You will need to find parking near the Old Town, as there is no direct parking at Fort Lovrijenac itself. The closest parking option is the 'Parking Lot P1' located at Ilijina Glavica. From there, it’s about a 10-minute walk to the fort. Head towards the Pile Gate and then follow the path along the city walls until you reach Fort Lovrijenac, which is situated on a cliff just outside the western wall of the Old Town.
