Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Trogir, head towards the Trogir waterfront promenade. Walk along the promenade until you reach the large stone bridge that connects Trogir to the island of Ciovo. Cross the bridge and continue straight on the main road. Follow the signs towards Okrug Donji. After about 30 minutes of walking, you will reach the village of Okrug Donji. From here, you can either continue walking along the coastal path or take a local bus towards Veli Rat. If you choose to walk, keep following the coastal road which will eventually lead you to Veli Rat.

  • Public Bus

    From Trogir, walk to the bus station located near the Trogir waterfront. Look for the bus that goes to Omišalj or Veli Rat. Purchase your ticket from the kiosk or the bus driver. The bus will take approximately 45 minutes to reach Veli Rat. Alight at the stop closest to Šetnica Ivana Klarina, which is where Marina Veli Rat is located. From the bus stop, it is a short walk to the marina.

  • Bicycle Rental

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Trogir. Head out towards the Trogir waterfront and cross the bridge to Ciovo Island. Follow the coastal road towards Okrug Donji, and then continue along the scenic paths that will lead you to Veli Rat. The bike ride is about 10 km and should take approximately 30-40 minutes.
