Getting There

    If you are traveling by car, begin your journey from the nearest major town, which is Liberec. Head east on Route 35 towards Hradec Králové. After approximately 30 km, take the exit towards Trutnov/Liberec on Route 14. Continue straight until you reach the town of Pec pod Sněžkou. You can park at one of the designated parking areas in Pec pod Sněžkou, such as the parking lot near the bus station (GPS coordinates: 50.586985, 15.731855). Parking fees may apply, usually around CZK 100-150 for the day. From the parking area, you can take a chair lift up to Růžová hora, or hike directly from Pec pod Sněžkou to the peak of Sněžka.

    To reach Sněžka using public transportation, take a train or bus to Trutnov. From Trutnov, you can catch a bus to Pec pod Sněžkou. The bus ride takes around 30-40 minutes.
