    From Vimperk, start at Pasovská street and turn onto Zlatá Stezka. Follow the road for approximately 2 km. The paved road turns into a stone forest path about 500 meters before the bridge. Continue along this path to reach the Klášterecký viaduct.

    If driving, parking is available near the viaduct, with no parking fees. From the parking area, it's a short walk to the bridge. Note that the last 500 meters of the road leading to the viaduct is a stone forest path.

Located approximately 2 km southwest of Vimperk, the Klášterecký viaduct, also known as Velký Klášterák, stands as a remarkable example of early 20th-century engineering. Completed in 1900, this four-arch stone railway bridge spans the Arnoštský stream valley, connecting Strakonice and Volary. The viaduct reaches a height of 22.4 meters and stretches 65.60 meters in length, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding lush landscape. The bridge's construction features rough quarry stone and lime-cement mortar, with concrete filling the wide joints. Its design is reminiscent of typical Alpine bridges, making it a unique technical monument. The viaduct underwent renovations in 1969, 1975, 1977, and most recently in 2003-2004 to preserve its historical integrity and enhance accessibility.
