Walking
From the center of Middletown, head south on Broad Street towards Main Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Main Street. Turn left onto Main Street and walk for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Route 299 (Middletown-Warwick Road). Cross the street at the crosswalk and continue straight onto Route 299. After approximately 0.3 miles, look for Wilmington Ave on your right. Turn onto Wilmington Ave and proceed for about 0.2 miles. You will see Fort DuPont Mortar Bunker on your left, situated within Fort DuPont State Park.

Bicycling
Start at the Middletown Town Hall on Main Street. Head south on Broad Street, then make a right onto Main Street heading west. Follow Main Street for about half a mile until it intersects with Route 299. Turn left onto Route 299 and continue for about 0.3 miles. Look for Wilmington Ave on your right, and turn onto it. Cycle straight for about 0.2 miles, and you will see the Fort DuPont Mortar Bunker on your left. Make sure to use designated bike lanes where available.

Public Transportation (Bus)
From the Middletown Transit Center, take the DART First State bus route that heads towards the Wilmington area. Ask the driver to let you know when to get off at the Route 299 stop. Once you get off, cross Route 299 and head west towards Wilmington Ave. Turn right on Wilmington Ave and walk about 0.2 miles until you reach the Fort DuPont Mortar Bunker on your left.
