If you are driving, start from the nearest major city in the Central Mountain Range, such as Santiago. From Santiago, take the Autopista Duarte (DR-1) towards Puerto Plata. After about 15 km, take the exit onto Ruta Panoramica 25. Follow this scenic route for approximately 24 km until you reach Km. 19. Tubagua Ecolodge will be on your right. Ensure to watch for the sign for Tubagua Ecolodge as the turn might be easy to miss.

To reach Tubagua Ecolodge via public transport, head to the Santiago bus terminal and take a bus heading towards Puerto Plata. Ensure you inform the driver to drop you off near Km. 19 on Ruta Panoramica 25. Once you arrive, you may need to walk approximately 1 km to reach the ecolodge. Alternatively, you can ask local taxi drivers waiting near the bus stop for a short ride to the lodge.

The fare from Santiago to Tubagua Ecolodge should range between 1,500 to 2,500 DOP depending on negotiation and exact pickup points. Ensure to agree on the price before starting your journey.
